Meeting with supervisor 1 year 9 months ago #1

Hi all

I've a question; I enquired about the perfect PhD. The Prof was very keen to talk to me and arranged a phone call with him and his research associate. We spoke and they really liked me, invited me down to London.
I've been to London (last Friday) and they seemed to like me and said that they would send further documents regarding grant. They spoke like I was going. They also said to give them a nudge if they don't send docs.
I've emailed a thanks and also said I look forward to receiving docs. I've not heard anything from them at all. I take this as they are no longer interested. Any advice as to what you all think - I think it's rude to simply ignore someone and not reply?
