Welcome to JohnM’s Blog
Hello there, and welcome to my blog. This focus of this blog is one of my favorite subjects in the world: me! Well, not so much about just me, but my life and experiences as a graduate student. But before I get too distracted with my experiences, I am going to take few moments to shamelessly, dare I say borderline narcissistically, talk about me. I am 24 years old, and currently working on a PhD in Counseling Psychology. Though at times this blog might sound like a cautionary tale against going to graduate school or a woe-is-me whine-fest, but I assure you that is not my intention.
My hope and my goal in writing this blog, is to help you. Whoever you may be. Whether you are a fellow grad student (I feel your pain my brother or sister!) or if you are considering perusing a graduate degree. There were many things that I did not know to expect when I started grad school, and I would like to share my experience in hopes that others can learn vicariously through me.
I hope you enjoy my blog, which in turn means that you like me. As you read through my life, feel free to leave comments. Let me know what you think, what you would like to know, or anything you might disagree with. Though the focus of this blog is my journey to becoming Dr. John, I would like to invite each and every last one of you to join me in my journey.
